ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (CNN) – A former shelter canine who was as soon as an unadoptable stray is now coaching to turn into a Ok-9 officer in North Carolina.

When Krypto first got here to Camp Mutt in Jacksonville, Burkhardt and fellow co-owner Josh Forester say it was a tough sight to see.
